Hey, gals! Yes, I’m totally aware that I’ve referenced Madonna’s current tour name in this “Rebel Heart” blog title, but it’s just so fitting for this look. This post is for the ladies out there who may be single and loving it, or who might have just gone through a bad breakup. The last thing you may want to do right now is celebrate anything related to LOVE. In fact, you would probably prefer giving Valentine’s Day a big ol’ “screw you”! But, it doesn’t have to be that way…
I say get your girls together and celebrate “Galentine’s”. Sure, it’s a super cheesy name, but it’s kind of sweet…don’t you think?! I mean, why can’t you celebrate the love of your friends on Valentine’s? Makes total sense to me! This look is perfect for a girls’ night out.
Valentine’s weekend is sure to be filled with ladies wearing dresses. My suggestion, go completely opposite and show your rebellion towards the day with this look. This rad ear cuff is the focal point, and it’s my outfit inspiration. I am obsessed with the spikes on it. Nothing screams rebel more than spikes-LOL. To keep with the rebellious theme, I’ve added black high-rise, ripped skinny jeans…these are super stretch, and so comfortable! The sweater I chose is also comfortable, it feels like you didn’t even get out of bed. Like you are wrapped in a blanket! And because it’s a wine color, it looks like you do not completely hate celebrating the holiday-LOL! As y’all now know, I always have to throw in a hint of girly to my looks. Adding these heels, rather than boots, gives it a feminine touch (while still having an edge, thanks to the studs).
Now, gather your girls and start making plans for a “Galentine’s” celebration.
I hope you have a blast!!
